Broccoli πŸ₯¦ works with plumbing, HVAC, and electrical contractors to replace fragmented tools and manual workflows with AI agents that answer phones, book jobs, follow up with customers, and drive revenue. The company has grown rapidly, serving hundreds of contractors and achieving millions in ARR in its first year. Broccoli has raised over $25M from Khosla Ventures and YC. The Social Media Manager role is responsible for owning the company's social media presence across platforms like TikTok, LinkedIn, YouTube, and Facebook, focusing on distribution, engagement, and channel growth. This is a hands-on, execution-focused position that involves managing content, responding to the community, building rapport, and tracking analytics. The role requires close collaboration with marketing and media teams.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in social media management or community management
  • Well versed across TikTok, LinkedIn, YouTube, and Facebook β€” comfortable as a platform generalist
  • Strong written communication skills, especially for engaging authentically in comments and DMs
  • Experience growing a community or audience from a small base, ideally in a startup, agency, or small-brand environment
  • Comfortable with the administrative and coordination side of the job β€” working across teams to get content live
  • Basic analytics fluency (native platform insights) and a habit of using data to guide recommendations
  • A practical, hands-on operator mindset β€” someone who enjoys running the day-to-day rather than just setting strategy

Responsibilities

  • Manage and publish content across TikTok, LinkedIn, YouTube, and Facebook
  • Monitor and respond to comments, messages, and mentions across all channels
  • Build rapport and foster genuine engagement with our audience and community
  • Grow Broccoli Trades Collective from ~90 members toward a target of 9,000
  • Help cultivate our broader influencer and trades community, with a particular focus on Facebook
  • Track analytics across channels and recommend improvements to grow reach and engagement
  • Coordinate with whoever's supporting video, design, and marketing efforts to source and schedule content
  • Handle the administrative and logistical work of keeping channels running smoothly day to day
