About The Position

One Summit Marketing Agency, the in-house agency for Haselwood Automotive Group, is seeking a Social Media Manager. This role involves managing marketing for 13 automotive brands, 2 car wash brands, and several other businesses. The Social Media Manager will lead the social media strategy, calendar, community engagement, and results. This position offers direct coaching from the Marketing Director and collaboration with videographers, graphic designers, a data analyst, a web team, and a project manager. It is a full-time, on-site position in Bremerton, Washington, requiring some evening and weekend work for events and shoots.

Requirements

  • 1 to 2 years of hands-on social media management experience for a business, brand, or agency (freelance and contract work accepted).
  • A portfolio or live accounts demonstrating content creation and results.
  • Comfort and skill performing on camera, speaking naturally to a lens, and taking direction.
  • Working knowledge of Meta Business Suite.
  • Proficiency in creating short-form video and writing clean, on-brand copy.
  • Basic experience with boosted posts or Meta Ads Manager, with a willingness to learn.
  • Ability to manage multiple brands and deadlines simultaneously without losing details.
  • A team-first attitude, open to giving and receiving feedback.
  • Meta Certified Community Manager (Exam 600-101) or commitment to obtain it within 90 days of start date (exam cost and preparation time provided).
  • A valid driver's license, three years of driving history, and ability to travel between Kitsap County stores and events.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Hootsuite, Opus Clip, Asana, or Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Experience in the automotive, retail, or multi-location business sectors.
  • Photography or video editing skills.

Responsibilities

  • Plan, create, and publish content (images, short form video, written posts) for every brand profile, tailored to reach each store's ideal customer.
  • Serve as the on-camera talent for brand content, including vehicle walkarounds, event coverage, and social clips.
  • Source and share relevant content to attract local car buyers and service customers.
  • Manage the content calendar across multiple brands, coordinating with videographers and designers to meet deadlines.
  • Monitor, engage with, and respond to all social media profiles in a personable manner, converting conversations into leads, appointments, and sales.
  • Act as the voice of the stores in social spaces, joining conversations, answering questions, and advocating for the brands.
  • Build cross-promotions and partnerships with local creators, community organizations, nonprofits, and other family businesses.
  • Grow online communities and expand outreach to local creators and influencers.
  • Oversee the visual appearance of all social media profiles (cover images, profile images, thumbnails, ad creative, social landing pages) in collaboration with the design team.
  • Design, launch, and manage social promotions, boosted posts, and ad campaigns, coordinating with paid media agency partners.
  • Develop and execute a social strategy, driving it forward with testing and metrics.
  • Report monthly to leadership on results and return on investment, focusing on key performance indicators rather than vanity metrics.
  • Analyze campaigns, interpret data and anecdotal feedback, and adjust plans accordingly.
  • Establish and track benchmarks and best practices for measuring social impact.
  • Monitor user-generated content for threats and opportunities, escalating significant threats to management.
  • Stay current on social media platforms, tools, formats, design trends, and strategies, and share learnings with the team.
  • Perform related duties as assigned.
