About The Position

Social Factor is seeking talented moderation professionals for project/gig, temporary, or part-time roles. We offer flexible schedules, including 24/7 work, to accommodate various lifestyles. As a Social Media Community Moderator, you will help develop strong, growing digital communities for well-known brands. Opportunities are available for US-based and UK-based moderators working in English and other languages. We are looking for individuals with a deep understanding of language, pop culture, and brand voice, along with previous social media moderation experience. Live stream moderation experience is a plus. The role involves interacting with users in real-time, answering questions, engaging in discussions, and troubleshooting. This position requires a personal computer, a reliable internet connection, and excellent communication and organizational skills.

Requirements

Native-level understanding of language.
Deep understanding of respective language pop culture, nomenclature, cultural references, and slang.
Able to understand client's brand voice & accurately engage with users.
Previous social media moderation experience is required.
Exceptional organizational, multitasking abilities, and able to follow clear guidelines and workflows.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills (ability to mirror voice/tone of multiple brands).
Excellent spelling and grammar skills (skills and/or language test will be given for final candidates).
Strong willingness to learn and think critically; a proactive approach.
High energy with the capability to multitask in a dynamic, rapidly growing organization.
Knowledge of and experience with the major social media platforms: Youtube, FB, X, Instagram, LinkedIn, etc.
Personal computer with minimum of Windows 10 and macOS 12.X.
Personal internet speed requirement of a minimum of 150 mbps.
