About The Position

David Yurman’s paid Summer 2027 Internship Program is a nine-week immersive experience in New York City for students and emerging professionals interested in the luxury jewelry industry. Interns work closely with expert teams and gain hands-on experience in luxury branding and the operational aspects of the company, along with access to networking events, mentorship, and industry insights. The Social Media Intern supports organic content planning and execution across Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Facebook, Pinterest, and LinkedIn. The position is hybrid in New York, NY, and reports to the Manager of Social Media. The program runs June 7 through August 6, 2027. The estimated compensation is $25 per hour, and interns participate in weekly learning, social, and networking events.

Requirements

Currently enrolled in undergraduate studies in a related field, such as Journalism, Marketing, or Communications.
Minimum 3.0 overall GPA.
Proficiency with Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
Proactive, eager to learn, and collaborative.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

Support day-to-day planning and execution of organic social media content across Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Facebook, Pinterest, and LinkedIn.
Assist in building and maintaining a social media content calendar aligned with brand priorities, campaign launches, and ongoing initiatives.
Conduct competitive research and monitor emerging social media trends, platform updates, and cultural conversations to identify content opportunities.
Collaborate with internal teams and external content partners to support engaging, relevant, and brand-aligned social content.
Organize creative assets, track content deliverables, and coordinate approvals to help ensure timely publishing.
Develop trend reports, competitive analyses, and performance recaps to inform the team of relevant insights and opportunities.
