About The Position

This is a part-time student employee position in the Blazer department within Academic Affairs. The Social Media Editor is responsible for posting content to the Blazer TikTok and Instagram accounts and coordinating the posting schedule for staff. The role requires excellent customer service, strong communication skills, attention to detail, organizational skills, initiative, and multitasking abilities. The ideal candidate will also be able to establish and maintain cooperative working relationships and display cultural competence and emotional intelligence.

Requirements

• Must be enrolled at JJC in at least 6 credit hours in the fall/spring semester.
• GPA of 2.0 or above.
• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Excellent Customer Service skills
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Attentiveness to detail, excellent organizational skills, initiative, and multitasking.
• Ability to establish and maintain cooperative and effective working relationships with other members of the college and community, displaying cultural competence as well as emotional intelligence.

Responsibilities
