About The Position

This is a part-time student employee position in the Blazer department within Academic Affairs. The Social Media Editor will be responsible for posting content to the Blazer TikTok and Instagram accounts, coordinating the posting schedule for staff, and performing other related duties as assigned. The position requires enrollment in at least 6 credit hours at JJC with a GPA of 2.0 or above, a High School diploma or equivalent, and excellent customer service, communication, organizational, and multitasking skills. The role also requires the ability to establish and maintain cooperative working relationships and display cultural competence and emotional intelligence.

Requirements

• Must be enrolled at JJC in at least 6 credit hours in the fall/spring semester.
• GPA of 2.0 or above.
• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Excellent Customer Service skills
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Attentiveness to detail, excellent organizational skills, initiative, and multitasking.
• Ability to establish and maintain cooperative and effective working relationships with other members of the college and community, displaying cultural competence as well as emotional intelligence.
