Foodnet Meals on Wheels is the only organization in Tompkins County that serves older adults age 60+ through home-delivered meals, nutrition services, and friendly safety checks every day! This role is for a student-FWS position. The team is dedicated to the food security and nutritional health of our most vulnerable population. The Social Media Coordinator will work with Foodnet’s Community Engagement & Philanthropy Manager to plan and implement the organization’s social media communications plan on various platforms. This role involves taking photos and videos, editing them into engaging content, tailoring messaging to different audiences, targeting younger audiences, collecting and analyzing data, and managing engagement activity on social media platforms. The position also involves working with a fun, energetic group of individuals committed to assisting senior neighbors live independently and assisting in Mac and Cheese Bowl planning and event promotion (May 2027).
