About The Position

Pacific BMW is looking to hire a Social Media Coordinator responsible for creating, managing and growing Pacific BMW’s social media presence to increase brand awareness, community engagement and to support our business goals. This position reports to the Business Systems Manager. The Sales Department Hours are Monday-Friday from 9am-9pm & Saturday 9am-7pm & Sunday 10am-6pm. This is a full-time, 40-hour position that pays hourly, non-negotiable and non-commission-based. Pacific BMW is a family-owned Dealership operated in Glendale since 1982. We have a new state-of-the-art facility with upgrades and a clean, organized work environment. Requirements

  • 2-4 years of managing and growing social media accounts (business or brand)
  • Strong written communication skills and visual story-telling skills
  • Experience creating short-form video (Reels, Stories, TikTok)
  • Comfortable working on capturing live content
  • Strong Organizational and time-management skills
  • Video/photo editing skills

Responsibilities

  • Management of the Pacific BMW’s social media presence to increase brand awareness and sales effectiveness
  • Utilize promotional strategies to strengthen customer relationships and influence trust, writing clear and brand-aligned captions
  • Capture onsite photos and videos on-site and at various events for marketing sales and content
  • Post engaging content, images and videos on various social platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, Tiktok, LinkedIn and Youtube
  • Manage a content publishing calendar and plan future posts in order to maximize target audience
  • Monitor comments, respond to questions and interact with followers to track engagement
  • Improve current process development as it relates to enhance Pacific BMW’s online presence
  • Work on various photo projects with all departments as needed
  • Ensure that messages and social media content are in alignment with the brand, business goals are maintained positively within the online community
  • Track basic social media metrics to record engagement, reach, growth and performance
  • Work with customer facing employees to build to their social media profiles and brands that in correlation builds the Pacific BMW brand
