About The Position

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Public Health, Journalism, or a related field.
  • Proven experience producing content for social media platforms, preferably within the healthcare or social assistance sectors.
  • Strong understanding of social media analytics tools and content management systems.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to simplify complex health information.
  • Familiarity with healthcare regulations such as HIPAA and ethical standards in health communication.
  • Expertise in Social media, including but not limited to, TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, Facebook, Twitch, Snapchat, X (formerly Twitter), and LinkedIn.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with video production and graphic design software such as Adobe Creative Suite or similar tools.
  • Knowledge of SEO best practices and digital marketing strategies.
  • Previous work experience in a healthcare organization or public health agency.
  • Certification in social media marketing or digital content creation.
  • Ability to speak multiple languages or experience creating culturally inclusive content.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, produce, and manage high-quality multimedia content including videos, graphics, and written posts tailored for platforms such as Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, and emerging social channels.
  • Collaborate with healthcare experts to ensure all content is medically accurate, up-to-date, and compliant with relevant regulations and privacy standards.
  • Monitor social media trends, audience engagement metrics, and feedback to continuously refine content strategies and maximize reach and impact.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams including marketing, public relations, and patient advocacy to align messaging and campaign objectives.
  • Manage content calendars, schedule posts, and respond to audience interactions in a timely and professional manner to build community and trust.
