About The Position

Fundamental is hiring a content-focused Social Media & Content Marketing Manager to shape how the company’s story reaches the market. The role owns founder voices on X and LinkedIn, company social channels, and the content strategy supporting them. It involves translating technical research and product work into engaging content for customers, researchers, investors, and prospective employees. The manager will decide what to publish and where, develop an editorial rhythm across long-form and social content, and ghostwrite for founders Jeremy and Gabriel with their approval. The role also supports podcast, panel, and other earned-media opportunities for company leaders, and uses performance data to improve audience reach and engagement. The position is based in the US, reports to the Head of Marketing, and works closely day to day with Jeremy and Gabriel in a small, fast-moving, early-stage company.

  • Based in the US and closely connected to the San Francisco and wider US tech scene.
  • Ownership mentality, with a desire to be measured on outcomes and enthusiasm for building from the ground up.
  • Humble, team-oriented attitude, with a bias toward action and willingness to do what is necessary to help the broader team succeed.
