About The Position

As a Social Media Content Creator you’ll be part of our Tools & Outdoor team working as a hybrid employee based out of Towson, MD. We’re looking for a creative storyteller who lives and breathes the digital world – and knows how to capitalize on brand right moments. You’re digitally savvy editor who’s on the pulse of culture and passionate about building community. If you’re also curious, accountable, and deeply passionate about all things social (and tools or the trades), you’ll fit right in.

Requirements

• 5+ years creating social content for a brand (portfolio required)
• Previous experince capturing and creating content using a IPhone and/or digital camera.
• Strong video editing skills (CapCut, Premier Pro, Final Cut, or similar)
• Deep understanding of Social first formats, hooks, and platform algorithms
• Excellent time management – you can move quickly without sacrificing quality
• Proven writing skills (captions, scripts, concepts)
• Comfortable digging into analytics to see what’s working
• Familiarity with paid and organic social creative best practices

Nice To Haves

• Proficient in one or many Adobe Creative Suite programs for graphic design

Responsibilities

• Develop and produce videos thumb-stopping content: ideation, scripting, filming, editing, and writing post copy
• Stay on top of culture, industry and competitor content to resonate with the end user.
• Maintain the brand’s visual and voice identity across all content
• Collaborate with team to support planned content briefs as well as real-time proactive opportunities.
• Collaborate with Brand, Creative, and Product teams to strategically develop social-first content.
• Partner with teams on influencer briefs, feedback and social first event concepts.
