About The Position

We're looking for a Social Media Content Creator who knows how to turn great people, real expertise, and everyday moments into content people want to watch, share, and remember. You'll own Turner's day-to-day organic social presence-from creating and publishing engaging video and social content to building community across Facebook, Instagram, YouTube Shorts, TikTok, and LinkedIn. Working closely with our VP of Marketing and integrated marketing calendar, you'll help shape how Turner shows up online and bring our people, culture, and pest management expertise to life through authentic, engaging storytelling.

Requirements

• Strong portfolio demonstrating original short-form video concepts, filming, editing, storytelling, and social publishing.
• Creativity, initiative, and follow-through needed to manage content from concept through publication.
• Comfortable working with people, coaching employees to feel confident on camera, and appearing on camera yourself when appropriate.
• Strong writing, storytelling, and visual judgment with the ability to create engaging hooks, captions, scripts, and platform-specific content.
• A highly creative, energetic, and personable approach with the ability to use humor and personality while staying aligned with the Turner brand.
• Experience creating content for a brand, business, personal audience, or social platform, with a strong understanding of what drives engagement and shareability.
• Hands-on experience with smartphone video production, photography, Canva, and relevant video editing tools.
• Ability to interpret social analytics and use performance insights to refine content, identify opportunities, and make thoughtful recommendations.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects, content calendars, channels, deadlines, and digital assets simultaneously.
• Ability to build trust and collaborate effectively with employees, branch teams, Marketing, Operations, leadership, and external partners such as Wingard.
• Initiative and curiosity to experiment with new content concepts and social trends while maintaining consistency with Turner's brand and marketing strategy.
• Ability to travel to Turner branches and events to capture content and build relationships with employee contributors.
• Flexibility to support occasional event coverage or content needs outside standard business hours, coordinated with the VP of Marketing.

Responsibilities

• Own Turner's day-to-day organic social presence by developing, creating, and publishing engaging video and social content across Facebook, Instagram, YouTube Shorts, TikTok, and LinkedIn.
• Bring Turner's people, expertise, customer needs, and local communities to life through compelling ideas, recurring series, scripts, hooks, captions, photography, video, and platform-specific storytelling.
• Film and edit content, appear on camera when appropriate, coach employees to feel natural and confident on camera, and build a network of branch contributors who can help showcase the people, culture, services, and communities behind our brand.
• Establish and maintain a consistent content cadence, initially targeting three to five original short-form videos each week with supporting content across priority channels, while continuously adjusting the approach based on capacity, audience response, and performance.
• Manage the social publishing calendar, scheduling, captions, thumbnails, and account upkeep while tailoring content to the unique audience and format of each platform.
• Monitor and engage with comments, messages, mentions, and relevant community activity during agreed coverage hours, ensuring leads and service concerns are promptly routed to the appropriate teams.
• Stay current on social trends, influencer and audience engagement tactics, and emerging content formats, finding authentic ways to incorporate humor, personality, and useful information into Turner's brand.
• Collaborate closely with the VP of Marketing to align social strategy with the integrated marketing calendar and work alongside the Marketing Specialist and Wingard to support broader campaigns, develop complementary content, and provide creative assets for paid initiatives.
• Travel to branches and events to capture authentic stories and service activity, provide employees with easy-to-follow filming prompts and guidance, and coordinate safe content capture with Operations.
• Maintain a searchable library of approved photo and video assets, including appropriate customer and employee permissions, and repurpose approved content from Wingard and other partners when appropriate.
• Report monthly on reach, watch time, shares, engagement, relevant audience growth, and attributable inquiries, using those insights to recommend content to repeat, improve, or stop.
• Monitor Google reviews and BBB activity, flag potential issues, and support approved routine responses while partnering with the appropriate teams on investigations and resolutions.
• Support select presentations, photography needs, marketing projects, reporting, and events.
• Approximately 75–80% of your time will be focused on social content and community engagement, including content creation, branch travel, publishing, audience interaction, and performance analysis.
