About The Position
Traders Village is seeking a part-time, on-site Social Media Content Creator for a weekend role. This position is ideal for someone who can naturally capture and share real-time events and experiences as they happen, rather than focusing on behind-the-scenes planning. The role involves actively moving around the property to film vendors, food, crowds, rides, and events, and posting this authentic, in-the-moment content consistently to platforms like TikTok, Instagram, and Facebook. This is not a remote position, nor is it a strategy or marketing planning role, and it emphasizes capturing genuine moments over polished edits.
Requirements
- Comfortable filming and posting from your phone
- Already use social media regularly (especially short-form video)
- Available on weekends (required)
- Ability to work independently, move, shoot, and post without constant direction
Responsibilities
- Walk the property and capture real-time content
- Film short videos of vendors, food, crowds, rides, and events
- Post consistently to TikTok, Instagram, and Facebook
- Focus on authentic, in-the-moment content—not overproduced edits
