This position is open to students currently enrolled in a co-op program through Northeastern University. The term will run from January to June 2027 and the successful candidate will be expected to work in-office five days a week. We’re looking for a creative, culture-obsessed Co-op to join our Client Services team. As a Social Media Content Creator Co-op, you’ll help concept, produce, and edit social content for brand campaigns across Instagram, TikTok, Threads, and more. This role is part of our high-performing Services team, collaborating closely with client-facing experts to bring content to life. It’s perfect for someone who lives and breathes trends, loves storytelling, and has a knack for turning everyday moments into scroll-stopping content.

Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a design program (graphic design, digital media, visual communication, or related field)
  • Great proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects) and basic familiarity with video editing tools (e.g., Premiere Pro)
  • A good understanding of social media platforms and experience in creating content for Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, etc.
  • Ability to design visually appealing graphics while keeping up with platform-specific guidelines
  • Creative thinking, adaptability, and openness to feedback
  • Organized and detail-oriented with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • A portfolio showcasing design work with a focus on digital or social media content (please include with application)

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with motion graphics and animations for social media
  • Familiarity with scheduling tools (e.g., Later, Buffer, or Hootsuite)
  • Knowledge of trends in social media marketing and content strategies

Responsibilities

  • Support creative ideation sessions for upcoming campaigns and always-on social content.
  • Capture and edit short-form videos, photos, and graphics optimized for each platform.
  • Monitor social trends, sounds, and memes to inform creative concepts and identify opportunities for brands to join the conversation.
  • Help organize and upload content to social scheduling platforms.
  • Work closely with designers, strategists, and influencer marketing teams to bring ideas to life.
