Internal Social Media Engagement Contractor
About The Position
People Creating Success (PCS) is seeking a creative and community-focused Social Media Community Engagement Coordinator. This role involves strengthening and engaging the PCS community by spotlighting extraordinary people, coordinating events, and building meaningful connections. The coordinator will use their communication skills and creativity to manage PCS's digital media presence, showcase the organization's purpose through event documentation and highlighting services, staff, and participants, and promote internal culture and morale. They will also create compelling content and campaigns to elevate the organization's mission and engage with regional centers, community partners, and the public.
Requirements
- Compassionate with a people-oriented mindset.
- A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Own Production and Post Production Equipment (e.g., Camera, microphone, editing software).
- Strong experience with digital marketing, social media management, and/or community outreach.
- Excellent writing, communication and design sensibility.
- Ability to work proficiently on a deadline.
- Genuine interest in social impact, inclusion and advocacy for people with disabilities.
- Organized, self-motivated, and ready to travel to events throughout the region.

- Portfolio or links to past marketing campaigns.
- Familiarity with HCBA, regional centers, or social services.
Responsibilities
- Manage PCS’ social media accounts, website content, and online reputation.
- Attend and document community events, highlighting services, staff members, and extraordinary participants, and celebrate the community.
- Promote internal culture, uplift morale through internal marketing, staff engagement, and person-centered messaging.
- Create compelling content and campaigns that engage regional centers, community partners, and bridge the gap to the broader public.
