About The Position

SBG Funding is seeking a Social Media & Brand Manager to lead the strategy, execution, and performance of their social media presence. The goal is to increase brand awareness, audience engagement, and business growth. This role involves managing content calendars, creating branded digital content, analyzing performance metrics, and implementing data-driven strategies across all social platforms. The ideal candidate will be both analytical and creative, with a strong understanding of social media growth, platform analytics, content strategy, and digital design. This position requires cross-functional collaboration to support company branding initiatives and the use of data and insights for continuous optimization and results.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in social media management, digital marketing, brand marketing, or a related field.
  • Proven experience developing social media strategies that drive audience growth, engagement, and measurable business results.
  • Strong understanding of social media analytics, reporting, audience insights, and performance optimization.
  • Experience building and managing content calendars, campaign schedules, and social media workflows.
  • Proficiency with Canva and social media management and analytics platforms such as Meta Business Suite, Sprout Social, Hootsuite, Google Analytics, SEMrush, or similar tools.
  • Strong understanding of platform algorithms, audience growth strategies, content performance analysis, and engagement optimization.
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects, campaigns, and deadlines simultaneously.
  • Data-driven mindset with the ability to interpret analytics and translate insights into strategic recommendations and actionable plans.
  • Experience collaborating across multiple departments and presenting performance insights to leadership teams.
  • Strong written, verbal, and visual communication skills with a keen eye for branding, design, and content quality.

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with SEO, paid social advertising, employer branding, and digital marketing best practices is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive social media strategy aligned with company goals, brand positioning, audience growth, and engagement objectives.
  • Build and manage monthly and quarterly content calendars across all social platforms, ensuring consistent messaging, strategic campaign planning, and timely execution.
  • Create and maintain structured posting schedules, workflows, and approval processes to improve efficiency, organization, and cross-functional collaboration.
  • Design and develop branded social media content and digital assets using Canva or similar design platforms while maintaining brand consistency across all channels.
  • Analyze social media performance metrics and audience behavior to identify trends, optimize content strategy, and drive measurable growth.
  • Track and report on key performance indicators including engagement, reach, follower growth, conversions, retention, campaign performance, and overall social media ROI.
  • Prepare weekly and monthly reports for leadership, providing actionable insights and strategic recommendations based on data and performance trends.
  • Conduct audience research, competitor analysis, and trend monitoring to identify opportunities for growth, engagement, and brand awareness.
  • Monitor platform updates, algorithm changes, and industry best practices to ensure social media strategies remain effective and competitive.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Recruiting, Leadership, Operations, and Customer Service teams to support company-wide branding initiatives, campaigns, events, and business objectives.
  • Support reputation management and community engagement efforts by helping develop strategies that strengthen brand perception and audience relationships.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement, automation, and workflow optimization to enhance the effectiveness of the social media function.
