The SEL Paraeducator supports students in a specialized classroom setting focused on developing social-emotional skills, self-regulation, and positive behavior. This role works under the direction of certified staff to implement individualized strategies that promote emotional well-being and academic engagement. The purpose of this role is to assist in creating a safe, supportive, and structured learning environment where students with social-emotional and behavioral needs can develop coping strategies, build interpersonal skills, and achieve academic success through consistent, compassionate, and proactive support.
