About The Position

The USF Department of Emergency Medicine seeks a board certified/board-eligible social medicine physician to serve as Social Medicine Fellowship Director and Medical Director of the Gulf Coast Refugee Organization. This full-time academic and clinical faculty position combines emergency department practice within the Tampa General Hospital Emergency Department system, including the main academic medical center and the South Campus Freestanding Emergency Departments, with leadership of a fellowship training program in social emergency medicine and health equity, and medical oversight of the Gulf Coast Refugee organization. The physician will practice in a high-acuity, Level I Trauma Center that serves as the primary teaching site for the University of South Florida Morsani College of Medicine.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as Social Medicine Fellowship Director
