About The Position
Seeking an Emergency Medicine Physician for a Locum Tenens position in Clinton, NC. This role involves providing comprehensive emergency medical care in an inpatient/outpatient setting. The physician will manage critical care patients in an open ICU, perform common emergency procedures, and collaborate with mid-level providers. Accurate and timely documentation in the Meditech 6.1 EMR system is required.
Requirements
- Board Certified
- Licensed in NC or IMLC
- Must be NC Medicaid credentialed and enrolled in PECOS
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive emergency medical care to patients in the Emergency Department.
- Manage critical care patients in an open ICU setting as needed.
- Perform common emergency procedures (e.g., suturing, intubation, central line placement).
- Collaborate with two mid-level providers (PAs/NPs) for team-based patient care.
- Ensure accurate and timely documentation in the Meditech 6.1 EMR system.
