About The Position

The Social Commerce Analyst supports the growth and day-to-day operations of the rapidly evolving TikTok Shop channel. This role plays a critical part in driving channel performance through product merchandising, promotional execution, and listing optimization, while also contributing to strategic initiatives such as hero product identification and bundle development. This individual will manage core shop operations—including assortment, pricing, and issue resolution—while partnering cross-functionally to enhance discoverability, conversion, and overall GMV. In addition, the role will support the development of compelling product and bundle briefs to fuel affiliate and creator engagement. This is a highly cross-functional position that requires a mix of both analytical and creative thinking, balancing data-driven recommendations with an understanding of social trends and content-driven commerce.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred or relevant work experience.
  • 1-3 years of digital experience in a similar role
  • Detail Oriented
  • Passionate about social media and the new creator economy
  • Stays close to product and social media trends
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills as well as strong listening skills
  • Ability to plan and prioritize effectively and stay organized in a fast-moving business.
  • Creative problem solver with an innovative mindset
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills with solid proficiency in usage of Excel.
  • Strong analytical aptitude, prior experience pulling data from Adobe Analytics, Tableau, and/or PowerBI a plus
  • Professionalism and confidentiality required both internally & externally.
  • Effective cross-functional collaboration skills. Works in a team environment as well as independently.

Responsibilities

  • Manage day-to-day TikTok Shop operations, including product assortment, listings, pricing, and promotional setup within Seller Center
  • Optimize product listings (titles, imagery, content) to improve discoverability, conversion, and overall performance
  • Execute and maintain promotional alignment between Ulta Beauty and brand partners within TikTok Shop
  • Troubleshoot listing, integration, and shop issues in partnership with external platforms and partners (e.g., Rithum, TikTok Shop)
  • Own TikTok Shop homepage merchandising execution, aligning with Social Commerce leadership on priorities and campaigns
  • Partner cross-functionally to monitor inventory levels and in-stock rates, adjusting safety stock and SKU availability as needed
  • Support seasonal and evergreen bundling strategies by identifying high-potential product combinations informed by TikTok trends, cultural moments, and consumer behavior
  • Create and manage new bundle SKUs within PIM to support channel growth initiatives
  • Enhance bundle listings through optimized imagery, enriched content, and brand collaboration
  • Optimize bundle performance to drive creator adoption, engagement, and GMV growth
  • Develop clear, compelling product briefs for affiliate creators, highlighting hero products and key bundles to support content creation and selling
