Soccer Content Writer (Contract)
About The Position
FanSided is seeking new contributors to join its Soccer coverage team. This role is for fans who want to share their extensive knowledge of various soccer leagues and teams, including the EPL, MLS, Bundesliga, Serie A, La Liga, and NWSL. The program offers aspiring writers experience in creating content about their favorite football teams on a first-class platform with a growing audience and support for learning and expansion. Contributors have the flexibility to write about topics they are passionate about on a schedule that fits their daily lives, with the freedom to write as often as they wish. This is an Independent Contractor role, and compensation is based on the total traffic accrual of articles each calendar month, which may vary based on site and experience.
Requirements
- Ability to write clearly and effectively in English.
- Minimum of one (1) article per calendar month.
- Pitch topic ideas before writing.
- Explore your voice as a writer and try new things.
Nice To Haves
- Unparalleled knowledge of specific soccer teams and leagues (EPL, MLS, Bundesliga, Serie A, La Liga, NWSL).
- Proposals for other teams in the Soccer division.
