About The Position

Join our mission to ignite a passion for soccer in young players! We are looking for enthusiastic individuals to deliver engaging soccer sessions to children aged 3-8, focusing on fundamental skills, teamwork, and sportsmanship. The role involves ensuring a safe, fun, and inclusive learning environment, addressing individual needs, and maintaining/transporting equipment. We are also seeking a Team Lead to provide leadership and inspiration for coaches and players, manage coaching shifts, adapt to weather changes, ensure availability Sunday through Thursday evenings, maintain records, oversee program quality and safety, and participate in weekly meetings. This is a part-time, seasonal position.

Requirements

Unyielding enthusiasm for soccer.
Valid vulnerable sector check.
Reliable transportation: Valid driver's license and vehicle.

Responsibilities

Deliver engaging soccer sessions to children aged 3-8, focusing on fundamental skills, teamwork, and sportsmanship.
Ensure a safe, fun, and inclusive learning environment.
Address individual needs, offering tailored coaching to enhance skill development.
Maintain and transport equipment, ensuring readiness for each session.
Inspire and mentor fellow coaches.
Schedule and manage coaching shifts to ensure seamless program execution.
Adapt to unpredictable weather, rescheduling when necessary.
Ensure consistent availability Sunday through Thursday evenings.
Maintain meticulous records of player attendance and coach availability.
Oversee program quality and safety, ensuring it's always up to standard.
Engage in weekly meetings, contributing to program enhancements.
