About The Position
The City of Indianola is seeking a Learn and Play Staff member to supervise and lead children in the Learn & Play Center. This role involves organizing, delivering, and teaching activities and programs, as well as knowing and demonstrating emergency procedures. Indianola is a growing community with a historic downtown, located approximately 15 minutes south of Des Moines, known for its friendly people, excellent schools, and access to outdoor activities.
Requirements
- Must be 16 years of age or older.
- CPR/First Aid/Mandatory Reporter.
- Must be available to work nights and weekends.
- Availability Monday through Saturday 8:00 AM- 11AM.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and lead children in the Learn & Play Center.
- Organize and deliver activities and programs.
- Demonstrate and teach activities.
- Know emergency procedures and be able to demonstrate them.
