About The Position

Join our Summer FC coaching team from July to August and inspire the next generation of soccer players! We are looking for enthusiastic individuals to ignite a passion for soccer in young players aged 3-8. This role focuses on delivering engaging sessions that emphasize fundamental skills, teamwork, and sportsmanship in a safe, fun, and inclusive environment. We are seeking both Grassroots Soccer Coaches and Team Leads to ensure seamless program execution and quality.

Requirements

Unyielding enthusiasm for soccer.
Valid vulnerable sector check.
Reliable transportation: Valid driver's license and vehicle.

Nice To Haves

Experience in coaching children aged 3-8.
Knowledge of fundamental soccer skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to adapt coaching styles to different age groups and skill levels.
Leadership experience (for Team Lead role).

Responsibilities

Deliver engaging soccer sessions to children aged 3-8, focusing on fundamental skills, teamwork, and sportsmanship.
Ensure a safe, fun, and inclusive learning environment.
Address individual needs, offering tailored coaching to enhance skill development.
Maintain and transport equipment, ensuring readiness for each session.
Provide leadership and inspiration for both coaches and aspiring players.
Inspire and mentor fellow coaches.
Schedule and manage coaching shifts to ensure seamless program execution.
Adapt to unpredictable weather, rescheduling when necessary.
Ensure consistent availability Sunday through Thursday evenings.
Maintain meticulous records of player attendance and coach availability.
Oversee program quality and safety, ensuring it's always up to standard.
Engage in weekly meetings, contributing to program enhancements.
