About The Position

Soccer Shots is seeking dependable, part-time coaches to lead engaging children's soccer sessions for ages 18 months to 8 years old. These sessions, focused on skill development, character building, and fun themes, are typically 30-45 minutes long and take place at local preschools, schools, parks, and community centers. Coaches will travel within a 30-40 minute radius for their assignments. This role offers a rewarding experience where coaches can make a positive impact on children's lives while enjoying a fun work environment.

Requirements

Passion for positively impacting children's lives through sports and fitness.
Must be at least 18 years of age.
Must be able to pass a background check.
Valid driver's license and access to a personal, insured vehicle.
Availability during Fall & Winter Seasons (September-December) on weekday mornings (Tuesday & Wednesday, 8:30 AM – 12:45 PM).

Nice To Haves

Prior soccer experience is not required.
Experience working with children ages 18 months to 8 years old is preferred.
Can still be a "kid" with a silly, goofy, and high energy personality.

Responsibilities

Lead 30-45 minute soccer sessions for children aged 18 months to 8 years old.
Travel to various locations including preschools, elementary schools, parks, and community centers within a 30-40 minute radius.
Teach an age-appropriate curriculum focused on skill development, character building, and fun themes.
Ensure a positive and engaging experience for all children.
Maintain consistency and reliability throughout the 8-10 week seasonal schedule.
