About The Position

Chatham University welcomes applications for Soccer Camp Staff positions. We are seeking enthusiastic, dependable individuals who are passionate about soccer and enjoy working with children and young athletes. Soccer Camp Staff play a key role in creating a safe, positive, and engaging camp experience by assisting with instruction, supporting daily camp operations, and encouraging teamwork, sportsmanship, and skill development.

Requirements

• Passion for soccer.
• Enjoy working with children and young athletes.
• Lifeguard certification (for Soccer Camp Counselor / Lifeguard position).

Responsibilities

• Creating a positive, safe, and fun learning environment for youth soccer campers.
• Assisting with daily check-in & check-out.
• Camper supervision in camp activities, lunch and transitions.
• Assisting with on field skills development and game coaching (including stretches, warm-ups, soccer drills, full field and small sided games).
• Daily set-up and clean-up of all activities.
• Overseeing camp pool time (requires lifeguard certification for the Camp Counselor/Lifeguard role).
• Assisting with all aspects of organizing and running the Cougar Soccer Camp.
• Roster/attendance management.
• Equipment & supplies management.
