About The Position

We are seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic Soccer and STEM Instructor to lead engaging after-school programs for K-5th grade students. This role involves teaching foundational soccer skills and integrating STEM concepts into fun, hands-on activities. The instructor will be responsible for creating a positive and educational environment, ensuring student safety, and fostering a love for both sports and science. Classes are held on Wednesdays from 3:30 PM to 4:30 PM at our Santa Ana, CA location, running from August 26th to December 26th.

Requirements

Experience working with children in a K-5th grade age range.
Knowledge of basic soccer drills and techniques.
Understanding of fundamental STEM concepts suitable for elementary students.
Ability to create and lead engaging activities.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Reliable and punctual.
Must be able to pass a background check.

Nice To Haves

Previous experience as a coach or instructor.
Background in education or a STEM field.
Experience with curriculum development.

Responsibilities

Lead and instruct K-5th grade students in soccer skills and STEM activities.
Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that blend soccer and STEM concepts.
Ensure a safe and inclusive learning environment for all students.
Manage classroom behavior and engagement.
Communicate effectively with program coordinators and parents.
