About The Position

We are seeking a highly motivated Security Operations Center Program Manager to join our team! We partner with the US national defense community to create fully integrated, resilient, and innovative digital solutions that enable them to make smart decisions in real-time. We work with our customers on everything from conquering their data to improving and safeguarding IT infrastructure. Our ultimate goal? To enhance our nation's ability to identify, address, and act – no matter what challenges arise. Clearance: TS/SCI with CI poly required Location: Fort Meade, MD The SOC Program Manager oversees daily operations including intrusion monitoring, triage analysis escalation/communication of events, gathering and reporting on current threat intelligence data, carrying out ‘first responder’ responsibilities associated with security incidents, and containing, eradicating, recovering and analyzing incident events within a 24/7 operation.

Requirements

  • At least five (5) years of general information systems experience.
  • At least seven (7) years of experience related to information security.
  • At least seven (7) years of project management experience.
  • CISSP (Required)
  • Top Secret (Required) security clearance.
  • Ability to Commute to Fort Meade, MD 20755 (Required)

Nice To Haves

  • A degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business Administration, or other related discipline is preferred.
  • CISSP or equivalent certification highly preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Oversees daily operations including intrusion monitoring, triage analysis escalation/communication of events, gathering and reporting on current threat intelligence data, carrying out ‘first responder’ responsibilities associated with security incidents, and containing, eradicating, recovering and analyzing incident events within a 24/7 operation.
  • Understand IT systems security architecture and testing, as well as privacy related risks and controls.
  • Serve as the authorized interface with the Contracting Officer, Oversight Manager, Technical Monitors, and other Government personnel and contractors.
  • Manage a complex, multi-task information technology security and privacy contract.
  • Formulate and enforce work standards, assign contractor work schedules, and review all work products and services.
  • Supervise contractor personnel, and communicate policies, purposes, and goals of the organization to subordinates.
  • Plan, organize, and prioritize work managing multiple tasks in a highly-complex, dynamic environment.
  • Analyze metrics to improve overall effectiveness.
  • Ensure deadlines and budget commitments are met.
