About The Position

The position monitors all security, communications and fire/life safety systems
and is the liaison between all security departments. The Security Operations
Center (SOC) Operator is directly responsible for the accurate documentation of
routine and unusual events occurring on or near the facilities and maintains
control of all equipment and keys in the Control Room. This position is
responsible for competing task work orders for all maintenance needs reported.

Requirements

• 2 or more years' experience in security, law enforcement, or the military
• NJ SORA license or the ability to obtain one
• High school diploma or GED

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience as a SOC operator for a high-volume command center, access control, and CCTV preferred

Responsibilities

• monitors all security, communications and fire/life safety systems
• liaison between all security departments
• responsible for the accurate documentation of routine and unusual events occurring on or near the facilities

• responsible for competing task work orders for all maintenance needs reported
• centrally managed law enforcement radio monitoring with event logging and recording
• alarm monitoring of intrusion detection systems
• emergency dispatch, incident reporting and analysis
• remote alarm panel programming
