About The Position
As a SOC Operator - Tech Company in Santa Clara, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic commercial real estate location, where you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help discourage security-related incidents, and support access awareness throughout the property. Requirements
- A minimum of 2 years of security-related experience is required.
- Proof of high school diploma or GED is required by the client.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
Nice To Haves
- CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
- Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
- Comfort using a computer and/or tablet is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Respond to incidents, maintenance concerns, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting information to the appropriate contacts.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the commercial real estate location, including lobbies, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter access points.
- Monitor entry and exit activity, help to deter unauthorized access, and communicate with building personnel regarding security-related concerns and/or unusual activity.
- Support daily operations by completing incident reports, providing directions and assistance, and helping to maintain an orderly environment across the location.
