The SOC Operator will monitor alarms, video surveillance systems, and AI-assisted detection platforms to identify, validate, and triage security events in real time. This role involves advanced CCTV monitoring, multi-camera sweeps, and live tracking to proactively identify suspicious activity, safety concerns, or system irregularities. The operator will also conduct archival video review, respond to emergency and non-emergency calls, and coordinate multi-channel dispatch operations. Maintaining detailed incident logs and utilizing AVERT workflows, databases, and ticketing systems are key responsibilities. The role includes first-level troubleshooting of security equipment and providing situational awareness updates to leadership and clients. Additionally, the SOC Operator will assist with post-incident reporting, evidence gathering, and root cause analysis of regional trends and system anomalies. Following established SOPs, supporting process improvements, and participating in training are also part of the role. The position requires close coordination with other SOC staff to ensure accurate documentation of dispatches and responses, and may involve supporting special requests from Security Leadership.
