About The Position
This is a temporary, part-time research assistant role focused on assisting with the completion and closeout of two NIH-funded projects related to sedentary behavior. The position involves data collection, participant follow-up, ensuring research compliance, data analysis, biospecimen analysis, data entry, database management, and administrative support.
Requirements
- Experience with data collection
- Experience with participant follow-up
- Knowledge of compliant research procedures
- Experience with data analysis
- Experience with quality control checks
- Experience with biospecimen analysis
- Experience with data reduction
- Experience entering data into databases
- Experience managing REDCap database
- Experience preparing data for statistical analysis
- Administrative skills
Responsibilities
- Data collection and participant contacts/follow up
- Helping to ensure compliant research procedures, including generating reports for participants
- Data analysis and quality control checks
- Biospecimen analysis, data reduction and entering data into databases
- Managing REDCap database and preparing for statistical analysis
- Assisting with other administrative duties as needed
