Soc/Clin Research Assistant
About The Position
The Research Assistant will conduct laboratory-based work in collaboration with and with the support of the Principal Investigator for a variety of projects. This individual will assist with ethics review board renewals and modifications for a multi-national infectious disease research study. They will also assist in preparing National Institute of Health (NIH) grant applications, maintain and troubleshoot an online REDCap database, and train other employees in maintaining and troubleshooting the REDCap database. Responsibilities also include data analysis and manuscript preparation for two upcoming journal publications.
Requirements
- Laboratory-based work experience
- Experience with ethics review board renewals and modifications
- Experience preparing NIH grant applications
- Experience maintaining and troubleshooting online REDCap databases
- Experience training employees on database maintenance and troubleshooting
- Experience with data analysis
- Experience with manuscript preparation
