About The Position

This co-op entails public relations, marketing, and communications. Provide support to faculty with the preparation and execution of Department sponsored events. Open to all Majors. Collaborate and communicate with faculty, staff, students, and alumni to complete assigned projects in a timely manner. Assist Department with the High School Business Plan Competition, Emerging Leaders: Women in Business Event, Alumni Professional Development Luncheon, and other events and meetings as necessary. Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Currently enrolled at Mount St. Joseph University
  • Must be Federal Work Study eligible
  • Matriculating in a baccalaureate degree program
  • Must have successfully completed or currently enrolled in CED 220.
  • At least junior standing with demonstrated communication, writing, and computer skills, including Microsoft Office products, Social Media, Adobe Creative Cloud, etc.
  • Ability to work on own initiative, independently, and meet deadlines
  • Well organized, punctual, and reliable
  • Must have valid driver’s license and regular access to a vehicle

Nice To Haves

  • Previous knowledge and use of social media and marketing
  • Experience with Adobe Design programs a plus.
