Requirements

• Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Must be pursuing Bachelor’s or Advanced degree in Systems or Aerospace Engineering, or Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics major and actively enrolled through the completion of the internship/co-op session.

Nice To Haves

• Familiarity with Agile methodologies
• Basic experience with DOORS, JIRA, and ALM tool suite
• Basic experience working within an aerospace related engineering development environment
• Basic experience or knowledge of engineering/technology requirements capture and configuration management tools
• Basic experience or an educational background covering requirements capture & definition, integration, verification & validation testing

Responsibilities

• Learn requirements capture and peer review for A/MH-6R cockpit avionics for the SOA programs
• Participate in decomposing and allocating requirements to appropriate domains within Collins Aerospace
• Support the creation of test procedures to verify requirements
• Participate in on-site execution of requirements-based testing, robustness and Ad-Hoc testing in a lab environment (schedule flexibility is necessary during formal test phases).
• Collaborate within an Agile-based development team of professional engineers
