About The Position

The Snowmaker I is involved with making man-made snow for ski runs at an introductory level. This role requires the ability to work in a high alpine environment and learn snowmobile operation. The position involves setting up and tearing down snowmaking equipment, operating it safely, and shoveling snow off equipment regularly. The Snowmaker I will also relay crucial information to the shift supervisor and may assist other departments. Additionally, they will provide information and answer questions about the resort to guests.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must possess a valid drivers’ license.
• Must be available to work nights including weekends on a flexible basis.
• Works Mid-October to late December
• Excellent English communication skills required.
• Excellent customer service and organizational skills required.
• Ability to work under pressure, multi-task and prioritize tasks.

Nice To Haves

• Previous heavy equipment operation experience preferred.

Responsibilities
