About The Position

This Senior Consultant role offers hands-on work with Snowflake and a supported growth path toward becoming a Data Architect. The role includes structured mentorship from experienced architects, participation in design reviews and solution patterns, stakeholder discussions, and increasing ownership of technical decisions. Work spans consulting engagements across industries and uses modern Snowflake capabilities across major cloud platforms. The position is based in Houston, Texas, and can be performed in a hybrid work model. The engineer will build and optimize data pipelines, develop data models, implement transformations and orchestration, and apply data governance, security, performance, cost management, and CI/CD practices. The role also involves solution design, client communication, documentation, mentoring, and contributions to reusable practice standards. CGI supports professional development through SnowPro certification access, training time, and community opportunities, as well as a development plan toward an architect role.
