Requirements

• 5+ years of hands-on experience in data engineering or Snowflake development
• Advanced proficiency in SQL and Python
• Expertise in Snowflake data analysis, schema design, and performance optimization
• Strong background in data quality, profiling, and validation within Snowflake environments
• Proven ability to collaborate across technical and business teams

• Experience leveraging AI for data management and automation
• Financial services or banking industry background

Responsibilities

• Create, modify, and maintain robust tables within the Snowflake platform
• Design scalable table structures to support diverse reporting and integration needs
• Develop and optimize advanced SQL queries, views, and stored procedures
• Collaborate closely with data engineers, analysts, and business stakeholders to translate data requirements into actionable solutions
• Support data ingestion, transformation, and validation processes for seamless data flow
• Enforce best practices in naming conventions, data types, constraints, and comprehensive documentation
• Monitor environment performance, proactively troubleshoot, and resolve pipeline or query issues
• Conduct data quality checks, profiling, reconciliation, and address discrepancies
• Uphold strict security, access control, and governance standards within Snowflake
• Participate in code reviews, testing, deployment, and production support activities
