About The Position

This role involves designing and deploying scalable cloud-based technology solutions using Snowflake and Microsoft Azure. The Senior Snowflake Developer will provide technology consulting and strategic guidance on digital transformation and data modernization initiatives. They will architect and oversee the implementation of enterprise data platforms and analytics solutions, lead technical assessments, and identify technology optimization opportunities. The role also includes managing relationships with technology vendors and third-party implementation partners, developing technical standards and best practices for data management and cloud infrastructure, and supporting business case development for technology investments and initiatives.

Requirements

• Minimum 10 years of software engineering, systems architecture, or technology consulting experience
• Advanced proficiency with Snowflake data platform, including data warehouse design, ETL implementation, and performance optimization
• Demonstrated expertise in Azure or equivalent cloud platforms including IaC, security, and cost optimization
• Strong background in relational and non-relational database architecture, query optimization, and data modeling
• Ability to work independently, prioritize multiple projects, and deliver results with minimal supervision while maintaining strong communication with stakeholders
• Ability to architect solutions and serve as a technical authority across complex projects
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent professional experience)

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience in a PE-backed company, with understanding of typical PE operating model optimization and technology implementation (PE – Private Equity)
• Hands-on experience implementing or optimizing Investran enterprise resource planning systems
• Experience with advanced analytics, business intelligence tools, & data visualization platforms (Tableau, Powe BI)
• Track record of providing technology consulting to multiple enterprise clients
