Eldora is the backyard winter mountain playground for Greater Denver, Boulder County, and Colorado's northern Front Range. Eldora is located just outside of the charming mountain town of Nederland, Colorado, about 20 miles west of Boulder and less than 50 miles from downtown Denver. Requirements

Ability to ride well, but we are looking for a ‘people person’ who has the desire to develop their personal skiing and/or riding skills.
Must be an excellent communicator and work well with others in and outside of the SRS department.
Must have empathy and patience.
High school degree or equivalent
Ability to meet company standards for background check.
Able to work long and irregular hours including weekends and holidays
Must be willing to teach any age range (child through adult).
If requesting full time winter employment, must also be a proficient skier

Nice To Haves

Previous experience with teaching/coaching/mentoring children or customer service preferred.

Responsibilities

Must love working with kids of all ages and can communicate effectively with children and parents to build long lasting relationships with the entire family.
Must be able to share your love for riding with Eldora guests in a safe and effective manner.
Teach snowboarding with a keen focus on the welfare of the students.
Have a desire to learn and develop personal skills by attending our free, ongoing ski & snowboard training.
Live the Eldora culture of being welcoming and inclusive while abiding by our policies.
Has an entrepreneurial mindset and sees an opportunity to build their brand through Eldora’s client base and SRS products.
Work with the SRS team in teaching and non-teaching duties.
Must be able to access daily schedules and company notices electronically.
Adheres to all company safety policies and procedures, actively contributing to a safe working environment for self, coworkers, and guests.
All employees are expected to support Eldora’s corporate responsibility commitment to protect the environment by participating in our Sustainable Transportation Program. This includes choosing alternative transportation, carpooling, using the employee shuttle, and avoiding onsite parking on weekends and peak days. These actions help reduce Scope 3 emissions, lead by example, and ensure adequate parking for our guests.
Must be able to work weekends and holidays as required by resort operations.
