Requirements
- Current and Valid Driver’s license
- Experience with heavy equipment machinery.
- Able to work at night in variable weather conditions.
- High School or equivalent
- Minimum 2 years either supervising staff or 2 years of heavy equipment operations
- 18+ years of age
Responsibilities
- Communicate information between the manager and employees.
- Create a work schedule for the crew.
- Monitor payroll in Workday.
- Establish a plan for each shift and lead operators in safe operations.
- Train employees on the safe and proper operation of equipment.
- Watch for weather changes and equipment issues, and communicate with the manager clearly.
- Clear parking lots and roadways of snow.
- Clear snow from maintenance areas.
- Clean ice and snow from equipment and complete equipment inspections each shift.
- Tire chain building and repair for equipment.
- Assist mechanics in servicing equipment as needed.
- Work with grooming in hauling of snow for day operations.
- Ensure walls are cut and clean between storms.
- Open and clear drains as the weather dictates.
- Pull ice pack layer on roadways and parking lots.
- Repair potholes in the lot/roads as needed.
