About The Position

The Production Manager (PM) reports to the Director of Operations and oversees 3-5 Crew Leaders and their crew members. A Senior PM may oversee additional crews or be assigned Field Supervisors (FS) to lead. The PM is responsible for assigned field workers, fleet, resources, and specific work production. Core responsibilities include planning, scheduling, dispatching, in-field training, supervision and development, quality control, productivity, and direct cost management.

Requirements

Long working hours are required for emergency, urgent response, or winter weather storm management operations.
May be occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions, moving mechanical parts, fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals, and outside weather conditions.
The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
Travel throughout the market served by the local Service Center, and from time to time for purposes of training may be required to report to another Service Center or the Corporate Offices.
May not use illicit drugs during employment.
Must be able to pass security background checks that meet underwriting standards.
Must have a valid driver's license and driving record that meet underwriting standards.
Ability to pass security background checks for high-security environments.

Nice To Haves

Senior PM may be assigned additional crews.
A Senior PM may be assigned one or more Field Supervisors (FS) to lead.
If a Field Supervisor is assigned, the PM will utilize them as an assistant in overseeing and accomplishing the production assigned to them.

Responsibilities

Schedule production on the team calendar in coordination with the Operations Manager.
Source, pick up, and deliver materials to the Service Center or job sites.
Purchase supplies and materials according to purchasing guidelines.
Print and deliver work tickets to assigned Crew Leaders.
Close production tickets in Omnia-SDS and review job costing reports.
Be present for Egress and assist with the execution of The ECF Egress Standard.
Dispatch assigned crews and collaborate with other PMs or the Operations Manager for equipment or personnel shortfalls.
Supervise crews in the field, driving production and managing job hour and material budgets.
Maintain all safety, production, and quality guidelines in the field.
Ensure fleet is maintained, properly and safely operated, and essential repairs are reported and scheduled timely.
Ensure assigned fleet, personnel uniforms & grooming, facility cleanliness, and job sites meet corporate standards of professional image.
Complete all essential paperwork or reports for management.
Communicate with clients regarding production efforts and field requests, relaying information to the Operations Manager.
Perform quality control audits and identify project opportunities for customers.
Assist with estimating and takeoffs for various proposals.
Prepare estimates and proposals as requested by leadership.
Present proposals to customers as requested by leadership.
Attend client meetings with Account Executives or Leadership if required.
Conduct interviews, screen, and hire field workers as directed by leadership.
Assist with employee orientation.
Train Crew Leaders and Crew Members in technical, safety, and soft-skills training.
Follow and administer appropriate disciplinary protocols for subordinates.
Attend and support specialized training courses for field personnel.
