About The Position

This role is responsible for the basic grooming of trails in a reasonable period of time. The Snow Groomer I will be involved in learning grooming patterns and contours, proper blade work, and tiller operation. They will also be involved in basic ramp maintenance and will use SNOWsat to check equipment in and out. Additionally, this position requires reporting any suspicious mechanical issues or abnormal performance of equipment to the Vehicle Maintenance department via SNOWsat. The role also involves coordinating and cooperating with other departments, providing information to resort guests, and performing any other duties that contribute to the overall efficiency of the operation.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must possess a valid drivers’ license.
• Must be available to work days or nights including weekends on a flexible basis.
• Excellent English communication skills required.
• Excellent customer service and organizational skills required.
• Ability to work under pressure, multi-task and prioritize tasks.

Nice To Haves

• Previous snowcat/heavy equipment operation experience preferred.

• Provide information and answer questions about the resort to resort guests.
• Perform any other duties that may contribute to the cleanliness, orderliness and overall efficiency of the entire operation and all of the tasks contained therein.
