About The Position

The Snow Groomer I is responsible for the basic grooming of trails in a reasonable period of time. This role involves learning grooming patterns and contours, proper blade work, and tiller operation. The position also includes basic ramp maintenance and using SNOWsat to check equipment in and out. Reporting any mechanical issues or abnormal equipment performance to the Vehicle Maintenance department via SNOWsat is also a key responsibility. Additionally, the Snow Groomer I will coordinate and cooperate with other departments, provide information to resort guests, and perform other duties to ensure the cleanliness, orderliness, and overall efficiency of the operation.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must possess a valid driver's license.
• Must be available to work days or nights including weekends on a flexible basis.
• Excellent English communication skills required.
• Excellent customer service and organizational skills required.
• Ability to work under pressure, multi-task and prioritize tasks.

Nice To Haves

• Previous snowcat/heavy equipment operation experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide information and answer questions about the resort to resort guests.
• Perform any other duties that may contribute to the cleanliness, orderliness and overall efficiency of the entire operation.
