About The Position

The Snow Crew Member is a flexible-schedule, on-call-as-needed position responsible for snow removal using manual shovels and snow-removal equipment. The role involves outdoor work in varying weather conditions and may require local travel, extended hours, and work at night, on weekends, and holidays during snow events. Compensation is based on experience.

Requirements

• Must be self-motivated.
• Must be able to pass a drug and alcohol test.
• Must be able to drive to the work site or branch in adverse weather conditions.
• Must be able to move and/or lift up to 60 pounds consistently.
• Must be able and willing to drive or travel locally, if needed.
• Must be able to work a schedule that may vary and may require flexibility to work extended hours.
• Must be able to work outdoors in a variety of weather conditions, including rain, snow, ice, sun, and extreme cold.
• Potential work hours during snow season include nighttime, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Attend meetings at the branch if requested.
• Remove snow using a manual shovel.
• Spread salt as requested.
• Remove snow from storefronts using awning rakes.
• Operate small snow blowers.
• Operate walk-behind snow sweepers.
• Monitor weather correspondence and stay aware of upcoming snow events.
• Follow all company policies and procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
