About The Position
A Snow Crew Member is a flexible-schedule, on-call-as-needed position responsible for snow removal using manual shovels and snow-removal equipment. The work may include shoveling, spreading salt, clearing storefronts, and operating small snow blowers and walk-behind snow sweepers. Employees may need to attend branch meetings and perform other assigned duties.
Requirements
- Must be self-motivated.
- Must be able to pass a drug and alcohol test.
- Must be able to drive to the work site or branch in adverse weather conditions.
- Must be able to move and/or lift up to 60 pounds consistently.
- Must be able and willing to drive or travel locally, if needed.
- Must be able to work flexible schedules that may require extended hours.
Responsibilities
- Attend meetings at the branch when requested.
- Remove snow with a manual shovel.
- Spread salt as requested.
- Remove snow from storefronts using awning rakes.
- Operate small snow blowers.
- Operate walk-behind snow sweepers.
- Monitor weather correspondence and be aware of upcoming snow events.
- Follow company policies and procedures.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
