About The Position

The Snow and Ice Campus Supervisor leads all assigned winter operations at a designated campus property. The role coordinates multiple crews, operators, drivers, and subcontractors; translates the Production Manager’s event plan into campus execution; monitors safety, quality, documentation, and changing conditions; and serves as the first reporting point for SIM staff assigned to the campus. This role applies only to sites formally designated as campuses.

Requirements

• At least two years of progressively responsible snow and ice, landscape, construction, facilities, or comparable field operations experience is preferred.
• Demonstrated experience leading multiple crews, operators, subcontractors, or complex sites under time-sensitive conditions.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to meet Company driving requirements; DOT qualification when required for assigned vehicles.
• Working knowledge of snow site planning, pedestrian and vehicle operations, deicing practices, equipment, documentation, and event communication.
• Ability to use Aspire, Sitefotos, mobile communications, maps, weather information, timekeeping, and other Company systems.
• Clear communication, sound judgment, teamwork, and professional conduct consistent with the Employee Handbook and Company standards.

Responsibilities

• Campus Event Leadership: Review the campus snow-response plan, contracts and service standards, site engineering maps, priority areas, staffing, equipment, materials, subcontractors, communications, and contingencies before each event. Direct all assigned campus operations and establish deployment, work sequence, staging, communication, inspection, relief, and completion expectations. Maintain accountability for onsite personnel and assets, coordinate breaks and relief, monitor fatigue and weather exposure, and promptly request additional resources or plan changes. Provide direction and coaching to crew leads, crew members, operators, drivers, and subcontractors and escalate formal employee or vendor concerns to the Production Manager. Coordinate routine onsite operational communication and refer scope, pricing, contract, or client-commitment decisions to the Production Manager or Account Manager.
• Quality, Safety, and Documentation: Perform recurring campus inspections during and after events; direct correction of missed work, refreeze, drifting, unsafe conditions, property concerns, and service gaps. Verify work tickets, employee and temporary labor time, material quantities, photographs, issues, QA records, equipment status, and subcontractor documentation are accurate and timely. Lead campus safety preparation and enforce safe traffic, equipment, pedestrian, material, fueling, staging, and communication practices. Immediately coordinate response and reporting for injuries, near misses, property damage, spills, disabled equipment, severe hazards, or emergency conditions. Complete post-event review with the Production Manager and identify improvements to staffing, routes, equipment, materials, site plans, training, or communication.
