This role prepares and serves food in the snack shop and processes register transactions for snack shop items. The attendant greets Members, recommends food products, and maintains a clean work environment by following company safety and sanitation procedures. Team Members are expected to carry out job functions and responsibilities as assigned, support club policies, and act with honesty and integrity. They should ensure a safe and positive environment, embrace inclusion and diversity, work collaboratively, and move with speed and agility. A friendly and positive attitude is essential. Members expect service excellence, and concerns should be resolved promptly. Daily commitment to GOLD Member Standards (Greet, Anticipate, Appreciate) and GOLD Club Standards (Grand opening look, stocked items, executed promotional plans, visible signage, clean and organized) is required. Understanding department performance reporting and the connection between execution and business impact is also important.

Requirements

• Food service experience preferred.
• Prior experience working in a customer service environment preferred.
• At least 16 years of age.
• Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of this job.

Responsibilities

• Prepares and serves food items for sale using food preparation equipment.
• Processes register transactions for snack shop items.
• Greets Members and recommends food products for sale.
• Maintains a clean work environment by following company safety and sanitation procedures.
• Answers questions and recommends products.
• Receives and stores food items in the freezer.
• Keeps the food, supply, and dining areas neat and clean.
• Stocks utensils, cups, napkins, condiments, and other items when necessary.
• Collects money from customers for snack shop purchases.
• Collects payments via cash, check, or other charge payments from customers.
• Cleans all cooking equipment and areas exposed to food products, including countertops and food preparation areas.
• Displays, stocks, rotates, and stores deli products following food safety, food freshness, and product handling policies and procedures.
• Ensures that all products are fresh and meet company quality standards.
• Checks for out-of-date products daily and follows appropriate product salvage policies and procedures.
• Follows all company safety and sanitation procedures.
• Breaks down food service stations at the close of business.
• Maintains all club policies and procedures.
• Performs other duties as assigned, including working in other departments as needed.
• Carries out job functions and responsibilities as assigned.
• Supports the application of club policies, procedures and compliance.
• Acts with honesty and integrity and lead with the member in mind to address any and all concerns and to escalate any concerns, as appropriate.
