This role prepares and serves food in the snack shop and processes register transactions for snack shop items. It involves greeting Members, recommending food products, and maintaining a clean work environment by following company safety and sanitation procedures. Team Members are expected to carry out job functions and responsibilities as assigned, support club policies, and act with honesty and integrity. They should ensure a safe and positive environment, embrace inclusion and diversity, and work collaboratively to achieve goals with speed and agility. A friendly and positive attitude is essential. Members are to receive excellent service through all points of contact, with concerns resolved and deescalated. A daily commitment to GOLD Member Standards (Greet, Anticipate, Appreciate) and GOLD Club Standards (Fast, Friendly, Full, Fresh, Clean) is expected. This includes maintaining a grand opening look daily, ensuring all items are stocked, promotional plans are executed, signage is visible and accurate, and the club is clean and organized. Understanding how to access and read production and/or financial performance reporting for the department and seeing the connection between consistent execution and business impact is also key.

Requirements

• Food service experience preferred.
• Prior experience working in a customer service environment preferred.
• At least 16 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Prepares and serves food in the snack shop.
• Processes register transactions for snack shop items.
• Greets Members and recommends food products for sale.
• Maintains a clean work environment by following company safety and sanitation procedures.

• Answers questions and recommends products.
• Prepares food items for sale using food preparation equipment, including food utensils, hot dog steamer, popcorn machine, small convection oven, food service warmers, condiment dispensers, fountain soda and Icee Machine.
• Receives and stores food items in the freezer.
• Keeps the food, supply, and dining areas neat and clean.
• Stocks utensils, cups, napkins, condiments, and other items when necessary.
• Collects money from customers for snack shop purchases.
• Collects payments via cash, check, or other charge payments from customers.
• Cleans all cooking equipment and areas exposed to food products, including countertops and food preparation areas.
• Displays, stocks, rotates, and stores deli products following food safety, food freshness, and product handling policies and procedures.
• Ensures that all products are fresh and meet company quality standards.
• Checks for out-of-date products daily and follows appropriate product salvage policies and procedures.
• Follows all company safety and sanitation procedures.
• Breaks down food service stations at the close of business.
• Maintains all club policies and procedures.
• Performs other duties as assigned, including working in other departments as needed.
• Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of this job.
