About The Position
The Snack Bar Cook is responsible for preparing simple food and beverage items for golfers and guests in a fast-paced snack bar environment. This position focuses on providing friendly service while preparing menu items such as sandwiches, burgers, hot dogs, breakfast items, and grab-and-go offerings according to established standards. The ideal candidate enjoys working with people, follows food safety guidelines, and takes pride in delivering quality food quickly and efficiently.
Requirements
- Previous food service, snack bar, quick-service restaurant, or kitchen experience preferred
- Strong customer service skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to follow recipes, instructions, and food safety procedures
- Basic math and cash handling skills preferred
- Must be able to communicate effectively in English
- Food Handler Certification, where required by law
Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve simple food items according to established recipes and portion standards
- Cook menu items using grills, ovens, fryers, microwaves, or other snack bar equipment
- Assemble sandwiches, wraps, salads, and other grab-and-go offerings
- Stock food, beverage, and supply inventory throughout the shift
- Ensure food is properly stored, labeled, and rotated to maintain freshness
- Monitor food temperatures and follow food safety and sanitation standards
- Maintain a clean and organized food preparation area
- Assist with receiving and storing deliveries
- Restock condiments, utensils, beverages, and snack items as needed
- Provide friendly and efficient service to guests
- Follow all Company, local, state, and federal health and safety regulations
- Perform other duties as assigned
